About the Range
American Oak runs lighter and more neutral than Namibian Kiaat or Blackwood, with a subtle, even grain that suits a Scandinavian or minimalist scheme as easily as a traditional one. Both tables in this range pair solid Oak with powder-coated steel legs.
This is a focused range, not a broad one: two 8-seater dining tables, one with a matching bench included. Both are built to order in our Durbanville workshop.

Both tables seat 8 and share the same solid American Oak top and powder-coated steel leg construction, so the choice comes down to leg style and whether you want a matching bench included. One pairs the table with a straight steel leg set and a separate solid-wood bench; the other uses a distinctive trapezium-shaped steel leg for a bolder, more geometric look. Both are built to your exact dimensions rather than a fixed factory size.
Care
Wipe Oak surfaces with a soft, slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh chemical cleaners, which can strip the finish. Use coasters and placemats under hot dishes and drinks, and wipe up spills promptly to prevent water marks. Reapplying a wood conditioner every year or two keeps the grain looking rich. On the steel legs, a dry cloth is usually enough, the powder-coated finish resists rust and everyday wear without oiling or polishing.
